Led by award winning, published songwriter, and kin to Patsy Cline, JV - who also happens to be an exceptional vocalist - The Albemarle Sound is ramping up to be a unique sort of act that means business. The members were chosen for all the right reasons: passion, work ethic, and professionalism. With 2 very capable rhythm, slide and lead guitarists, Eli J Prythero & Max Redding (Eli is also a phenomenal Harmonica player) echoing the memories of Duane Allman & Dickey Betts, a well-versed and precise percussionist in Luke Mayberry who also serves as the bands Maestro, and a steady bassist who lives in the pocket because it's cozy in there - This band has the pieces needed to engage a crowd and entertain in a way that is evident at every live show.
